Gratitude.

I am simply grateful. I encourage you to take time each day to express gratitude for the things that you have to be grateful for.

"What do I have to be grateful for?", you may ask. Well, let's start with the fact that you woke up this morning, have the ability to read, and the access to an electronic device that grants you the ability to see this blog.

See what I did there? You didn't even know that each of those things was worthy of daily gratitude. Whether you feel like you are living the life that you want to live or not, you definitely have something to be grateful for. That doesn't mean that sometimes we don't experience the short end of the stick, because let's be real, that's life. However, we have the power to control how we react to the things that take place in our lives.

I often have this conversation with my pre-teen about looking at the positives over the negatives.

I make it a habit to end my evening by expressing gratitude for my day. Whether I had a challenging day or an easy breezy one, I can always find something that took place in my day to be grateful for.

Try it. You will notice how it can change your mood for the better; things are never as bad as they seem.

Believe it or not, showing gratitude is a form of self-care and self-love as well. I have recently updated my self-care workbook, available for immediate download in a printable PDF format. If you are more of a "hands-on" person who would prefer to receive the printed copy, I have that available as well. Click here to check it out.

Until next time...With love, Tee Marie 🧡
