Black History Month is Here Every year, especially during Black History Month, I become intentional about buying black. For so many years black people were not allowed to educate themselves publicly, own property or own businesses. We have all heard the stories about how hard it was for our ancestors to fight for the rights that we take for granted daily. I encourage you to spend black for the entire month of February. Intention (n.) an act or instance of determining mentally upon some action or result. Hey, hey can you believe it's 2023 already?! How are you? It has officially been 3 years since COVID and the world is still not back to normal. Although we cannot control what happens with this virus, we can control our mental. What do I mean by that? I have seen large crowd gatherings but I am still uncomfortable with the idea that people are still consistently falling ill to COVID-19 and losing their lives. Although I do know quite a few people who have been infected with the disease and are doing just fine now, I just DO NOT want to chance infecting my children,
It's important to set goals so that you can keep track of your progression. Even if you are good at staying on track, it's always cool to see how far you have come in order to know your growth. As we approach the end of this first quarter of 2020, now is a good time to assess how far we are from our original goals. I personally have had a few setbacks this first quarter but I will NOT allow them to stagger my progress! I have been faced with everything these first two months
