At the beginning of this year we all set new goals. We said that this was the year of no nonsense, the year of healthy living, and set new business goals. We even said that this was going to be our best year yet!
But how many of us stayed on course the past 6 months?
See it's one thing to say these things but it's a totally different thing to actually make a plan and put in the work. That means that your goals should be written down and kept somewhere that you will be able to see them daily or even weekly. For me I keep a calendar in my bedroom that I pass daily to keep me on track. If I have a really important task then I also program a reminder in my phone and on my laptop. That way I have an alarm to remind me of what needs to be done and how much time I should spend doing it.
The first two quarters of the year I spent releasing my newly published book and planning my signature 6-WEEK MASTERCLASS: SELF-LOVE IS THE BEST LOVE! I have put a lot into launching this new class of mine and I can't wait to share it with you all.
Self-care is very important for self-development and is very necessary. I used to be the person that did not take time to read a book, even though reading has always been a passion of mine. I was constantly giving to others but I very rarely took time to give to myself. I mean I had it so bad that I would bring my kids to the nail shop and hair salon with me instead of leaving them at home with their father or finding a sitter, aka grandparent. I was determined to do it all!
