Peace

A state or condition conducive to, proceeding from, or characterized by tranquility; Freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety, an obsession, etc.;serenity. Now that we have defined the definition of peace, do you have it?

Peace is such a delicate word and can be very hard to achieve in your life. Why? Because we as people, especially women, allow other people's feelings, problems, and opinions steal our peace! Hear me clearly now, STOP IT!

Now more than ever in this new normal we are all living, paying attention to protecting your peace is of vital importance. If you are not ok then nothing else around you will be either. Not your work environment, home environment, interaction with friends, NOTHING!

Take some time before starting your day to meditate and focus on the space you woke up in. Become aware of your emotions and take control of your mood by finding the love in yourself. Yoga is an excellent practice to implement for a full body awareness. Your mind, body, and soul all work together in affecting your mood. Stretching and breathing send signals to your brain and make you calm. So try being still for 10-15 mins in the morning while breathing deeply and see how calm you are able to start your day.

Be prepared for any obstacle to be looked at in a positive way. For example, if you spill something on your clothes before walking out the door for the day, don't view it as a clumsy mistake. View it as an opportunity to wear what you should have been wearing anyway. I hope these tips help. Please share with me your thoughts.
