Graduation!

Graduation is Here!

Every year around this time in Atlanta, people are getting ready for proms and graduation. My "mini me" isn't interested in going. However, my husband has 2 graduations this year. I am extremely proud of both of them.

The picture above are my graduates!

Here is the advice I have for you as they both attended school for almost the same amount of time:

  • Don't Sweat The Small Stuff. Do you remember when you were in school? How did you want to be treated? Keep that in mind when dealing with others.

  • Patience. Have patience when interacting with your teenager and/or spouse. (Senior"itis" is a real thing, lol)

  • Understanding. If space is what they need, give them space! If they need to vent about their frustration with school, listen! If they need explain something to you about school that you have NO idea about, shut up and listen anyway! lol

  • Grace. Allow them their free time as much as possible no matter what it is. Remember, if you were in their position you would want all of these loving things done for you.

to name a few...

Are you in the home with a graduate? Are you a 2023 projected graduate? Share a few of tips or things you wish your support system would do for you.

Take Care my Friends!
