Buy Black!

Black History Month is Here

Every year, especially during Black History Month, I become intentional about buying black. For so many years black people were not allowed to educate themselves publicly, own property or own businesses. We have all heard the stories about how hard it was for our ancestors to fight for the rights that we take for granted daily.

I encourage you to spend black for the entire month of February. Support a black author, haircare professional, coffee shop owner, virtual assistant, skincare professional, graphic designer, boutique, gym, athletic apparel, tattoo artist, piercer, whatever!

Need help locating businesses to support? Keep reading below as I share a few with you below.

  • Healthy Hair Care Professional. If you are in the Atlanta area check out Master Cosmetologist and Trichologist Nailah Copeland. She has over 25 years of experience in her profession traveling internationally to educate other professionals. (ALL NEW CLIENTS MUST SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION) Schedule a consultation here.

  • Boutique. If you live in the Atlanta area I recommend that you shop with According to Fashion. This boutique has something for the men and women in your life.
