Are you one of those people who always seem to be available for everyone else but yourself? Whether it is a co-worker, family member or even your friends you always seem to "save the day" for everyone else only to find yourself burned out at the end of the evening. The reason you seem to have nothing left after giving so much is because you are operating on an empty tank.
If you have ever flown somewhere on an airplane you have no doubt heard the announcement that if your oxygen mask is needed during the flight you are to put your mask on first BEFORE helping anyone else. The reason it is important to do so, is so that you do not pass out. Who can you help give oxygen to if you yourself do not have oxygen? The same is true in everyday life, you cannot give from an empty tank. So be sure to get rest, eat healthy, exercise, and do things that make you happy. Your body needs all of these things in order to be full enough to give of yourself to others.
